Nightempest has a playlist competition where she invited her readers to mention 2 songs each under comments to be used in her play list. I listened to a whole bunch of newish songs. Which was good but reinforced my thinking that nothing was as good as the 80s- 90s. So old fashioned of me, but oh so true isnt it?

Brainwashing

I found this rather powerful message posted after the Bawani and Sharifah Zohra Jabeen Syed Shah "Miskin" debacle in Malaysia displayed on youtube. 

Sharifah Zohra does spout rubbish into the mike. I wonder at people like this. How do people like this exist and people who do not think, have no logic and do not try to understand the world around them. They are not stupid. She has obviously been to public speaking training. She knows far better than me the importance and how to look presentable and effective. But.. They take up time and mis lead the media. Contribute to the rubbish out there. Effective these days huh?

Plusminus One

Wire ware by Naoto Fukusawa. Manufactured and distributed by Plus minus One. We visited their showroom on cat street at our last trip to Tokyo. But thats what it was - a showroom, and not a retail outlet so I couldnt get it!! sigh!

Why have I not bought this yet? Its been 3 years that I am staring at these items and I still want to get it! My biggest excuse is that I am waiting for my new kitchen where I can unpack all my nice kitchen things? Will I live that long? I was thinking about these items today but couldnt remember their brand name. I am posting this here now, so I remember the links and how to find them.
